URI offers scientific and humanitarian aid to Haiti
The University's research vessel Endeavor left for Haiti this week on a two-fold mission—to study the seafloor in Haitian waters to find geologic evidence of the recent earthquake and to deliver humanitarian supplies procured by Plan USA. College of Engineering to launch accelerated BS/MS program The College of Engineering is one of the first in the nation to establish a five-year accelerated bachelor’s/master’s degree program to better prepare engineers for the workplace.
The University's College of Nursing and Bradley Hospital are collaborating on a new master’s degree in
child and adolescent psychiatric mental health nursing at Bradley, the nation’s oldest neuropsychiatric child and adolescent hospital. The College also offers hospital-based programs at Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital.
