2 p.m., The Ryan Center
A special afternoon celebration honoring President Carothers will be held at the Ryan Center for members of the University community, including students, faculty, and staff.

May 1, 2009
12 noon, Kingston Campus
A dedication recognizing President Carothers' many contributions to the University of Rhode during his tenure will be held on the Kingston Campus at noon.

6 p.m., Belle Mer, Newport, RI
A gala evening in Newport will honor President Carothers and celebrate his years of service and achievement.
