Last spring the Student Alumni Association introduced a new program to the URI community called Dinner with Strangers in which URI alumni and faculty members were invited to open their homes to students for small dinner parties as a way to bring URI alumni, faculty, and students together in a warm, friendly environment for good food, conversation, and Rhody camaraderie.
The program is free for students, while the hosts assume the expenses for dinner. Upcoming dinners are planned for Sunday, October 29, and Sunday, November 5. If you would like to host one of these dinners, please contact Kristal Cardone at 401-874-4536 or kristal@advance.uri.edu.
